MATCHING GRANT RECEIVED

Received $1,000,000 Matching Challenge Grant from the Helmerich Trust

LAND PURCHASED

17 acres of land was purchased for the future home of Eden Village of Tulsa in northwest Tulsa.

June 2022

OBTAINED OFFICIAL IRS TAX-EXEMPT STATUS AS A 501(C)(3) NON PROFIT

We are diligently searching and ready to purchase the right 4-10 acre property to purchase for our 1st Eden Village of Tulsa.

EDEN VILLAGE OF TULSA BECOMES OFFICIAL

Eden Village of Tulsa, Inc. is formed as an Oklahoma non-profit corporation, with pending IRS 501(c)(3) approval coming soon. Paperwork is signed to become part of the Eden Village global effort, Realtor® Darryl Baskin is hired to start the land search and Brad tours Community First in Austin, TX, the largest and oldest tiny home community in the USA.

FIRST MEETING WITH EDEN VILLAGE USA

Brad & Becky Johnson, tour active Eden Villages in Springfield, MO and have their first official meeting with director Nate Schlueter.

BRAD JOHNSON STARTS RESEARCH INTO TULSA’S HOMELESS POPULATION

Brad Johnson volunteers, explores, reads, and learns more about the homeless problem, specifically in Tulsa, his hometown.

APPALACHIAN TRAIL

Brad Johnson took off from his business, LawnAmerica, and thru-hiked the 2,200 miles of the Appalachian Trail, in part to raise over $100K for local charities, giving insight on what it’s like living with all your belongings on your back.
