When will you be accepting resident applications?
Eden Village of Excelsior Springs is currently in the fundraising phase and when dollars are established, will be seeking, and purchasing land to proceed building our community on. Once land and infrastructure are established, we will open resident applications to those individuals who meet our requirements.
How long can a resident live at Eden Village?
Residents are chronically homeless and often are unable to sustain non-homelessness without a built-in support system. Our residents are welcome to live in Eden Village indefinitely if they are an active community member and meeting our community requirements.
How can I be a part of Eden Village of Excelsior Springs?
We welcome anyone that has a passion for people and a desire to not only help our homeless friends but to help ease the financial burden on our city and county. Where will Eden Village of Excelsior Springs be located?
We’re currently in search of the perfect piece of property to accommodate our residents and to improve the current landscape of the community around it. What does it mean to be chronically homeless?
To be defined as chronically homeless is to be homeless for a consecutive 12 months and has been diagnosed with a physical or mental health disorder, with history showing that the person can’t sustain residential independence.
