A HOME FOR THE CHRONICALLY HOMELESS
If you are chronically homeless, we’re building a community just for you.
To be an Eden Village resident you must meet all three of the following requirements
Chronically Homeless
To be eligible you must be homeless for a consecutive 12-months and/or be homeless more than four times in a 3-year period within the city limits of Louisville, KY.
Disabled
A persistent physical or mental disability makes it difficult to live independently without the support of others. Axis 1 diagnosis (schizophrenia, bipolar, major depressive disorder) are common.
Income
A source of income to pay your monthly rent, utilities, community services: laundry, activities, and support services. Income often comes from employment, sponsorship, or government assistance.

Though our hearts want to help everyone who is in need, our goal is to help those who are unable to help themselves. With limited space, we ask that if you don’t meet the above requirements for you to take advantage of other not-for-profits and seek the assistance of city resources available to you.
What to know about living at Eden Village of Louisville …
- Eden Village of Louisville is in the fundraising phase and seeking land to purchase to build its first (of many) Eden Village communities to house the chronically homeless.
- Once the land is purchased, community center is built and homes and community infrastructure are established we will begin reviewing resident applications.
- Our community will be built by volunteers and will add staff once we’re ready for residents.
- Eden Village of Louisville will be a great neighborhood. We will be a clean and safe community, only offering value to our great city.
