Recovering from homelessness requires physical, mental, and emotional healing from the traumatic experience of life on the streets. Community is a vital component of the recovery process. Our residents build close relationships with each other, the staff, and volunteers who are there to encourage them every step of the way. To further ensure a strong support system, Eden Village provides each resident with their own home team, a group of volunteers who regularly spend time with a resident, get to know them, and encourage them to set and achieve goals. We believe that providing residents with a safe and a supportive community puts our residents in the best possible environment to promote successful personal growth.
We can’t do this without the help of our community. If you feel like you could be an asset in growing Eden Village of Phoenix, reach out. We’d love to welcome you to our team.
We partner with other local organizations that provide on-site support services including psychiatric counseling, psychiatric case managers and Qualified Mental Health Providers. We have on-site health services. We have social work case managers, and a community coordinator who will ensure that there are social activities, personal enrichment activities and skills training activities. In addition, the community center provides space for Sober Living activities, a Library/Computer Lab, Laundry Room, a food bank, and a multi-purpose room for community socializing and events.
Eden Village of Arizona depends upon its volunteers to help make this a reality. If you have a talent, connections, or just want to be a part of the solution, we’d love to hear from you.
