Frequently Asked Questions

What cities is Eden Village of Arizona in?
Arizona’s first Eden Village is set to be in the east valley of Phoenix. We also are seeking lands in other areas, in Phoenix and other cities, that need these communities. The more volunteers and donors we have, the quicker we can get people off the streets and into a home.
How do you qualify to live in an Eden Village?
Eden Village homes are permanent residents. It can, but is not designed to be a stepping-stone, it is for the chronically disabled, that without the support and community accountability would end up back on the streets. If you meet the requirements, you’ll go through the application process and once selected will have a home here if you maintain sobriety, rent and be a good neighbor. Learn more on our Need Help page.
Does it cost to live in an Eden Village?
Yes, our goal is to give our residence a sense of purpose and support them in paying for their own home. We’re a not-for-profit and donations do fill in the gaps for support services, staffing and cost of living, but we ask our residents to pay $400-$450 a month in rent. Rent often comes from government assistance, sponsorship, or employment.
When will Eden Village of Arizona start accepting resident applications?
Once land is purchased and infrastructure is complete, Eden Village of Arizona will open up the application process (found on our website) and will start interviewing applicants. Once an applicant is accepted and moved in, they are welcome to live at Eden Village indefinitely.
How can I be involved in Eden Village of Arizona?
It truly takes a community. We are seeking additional board members, volunteers, staff and donors to help get Eden Village of Arizona off the ground and our friends in need house. Everyone has gifts that can help us get there. Contact us, to see how you can best be a part of our growing team.
