Eden Village - San Marcos

WHAT WILL EDEN VILLAGE OF SAN MARCOS LOOK LIKE?

Together we will build this gated tiny home community for our homeless friends.

Eden Village of San Marcos will be a 30–50-unit Tiny Home community specially designed to provide permanent homes for chronically homeless individuals. Eden Village gives residents a chance to transition back into a productive life within the community. The neighborhood will be pedestrian only, gated, with a community center, a courtyard, and a front porch for every home.

This model gives residents a chance to share their experiences in a safe environment while receiving services from within their own neighborhood. Inspired by testimony from residents of Eden Village of Springfield, we know our residents will experience a radical transformation in their lives, which will benefit the entire community.

Our Why

What led us to bring Eden Village to Texas.

β€œFor over 27 years our family has been involved in the recovery community in and around Central Texas. Before breaking free of addiction and homelessness in 1995, my husband Andrew and I, had personally experienced some of the same struggles that our friends without homes experience. The support we received in those years made it possible for us to get back on our feet and rebuild our lives. We have an immense passion to pay forward the love and support we have received and serve our growing community.

Having developed relationships over many years with our friends without a home, we understand the need for a permanent and supportive community model. With establishing safe and affordable homes we will enable our homeless friends to break free of the constant struggles of sleeping outside. We believe the only cure for homelessness is a home.” – Sheila & Andrew Morgan
